About the Service

Spiritual Counselling is a guided, conversational space to explore life’s bigger questions, transitions and everyday challenges through a spiritual and holistic lens, rather than a clinical or diagnostic one. Sessions draw on reflective listening, traditional spiritual perspectives and compassionate conversation, centred entirely on whatever you bring to the room.

This is not a form of licensed psychotherapy, and it does not attempt to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Where appropriate, your practitioner may gently suggest that professional support would be a valuable addition alongside this work.

Many people find spiritual counselling useful during periods of transition — a career change, a loss, a relationship shift, or simply a season of feeling unmoored — as a space to think out loud with someone trained to listen without judgment.

What the Session Involves

Sessions take place as a one-on-one conversation in a calm, confidential setting. There's no fixed structure beyond following where the conversation naturally goes — you set the agenda, and the practitioner listens, reflects, and occasionally offers a spiritual perspective or question to consider.

You're welcome to return to the same topic across multiple sessions, or to use each one for whatever is most present for you at the time.

Who May Find This Practice Useful

Anyone seeking a compassionate, spiritually grounded space to think through a life question, decision or challenge may find this valuable — whether you're navigating something specific or simply want regular space for reflection.

If you are currently navigating a diagnosed mental health condition, spiritual counselling can sit alongside — but should never replace — the professional care you're receiving.

What topics can I bring to a session?

Anything that's present for you — relationships, work, life direction, grief, or simply a general sense of feeling stuck.

How many sessions do people typically have?

This varies — some come for a single conversation around a specific moment, others return regularly as an ongoing practice of reflection.
